Knows It's Fun to do Good!

It's Fun To Do Good and the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) knows it!

FatCats was pleased to honor the NALC in December who supports the Muscular Dystrophy Association. FatCats has sponsored events in the past with this group and continue to be active with them. This branch #1902 of the association create fundraising events all around the East Valley of Phoenix. We were able celebrate their Doing Good for Muscular Dystrophy at the conclusion of their monthly meeting.

Here is some information about the NALC:

The National Association of Letter Carriers embraced the Muscular Dystrophy Association as it's "official charity" in 1952, becoming the first official national sponsor of the group founded in 1950. The money raised from the fundraisers is used to help send MDA kids to summer camp.  It costs $800.00 to send one kid to camp. The National Letter Carriers Association has also partnered with Gordon McCune and the members from Branch 1902 on multiple occasions for MDA fundraisers.
