Knows It's Fun to do Good!

It's Fun To Do Good and the Genesis Project of Apache Junction knows it!

On Tuesday, FatCats was pleased to honor the Genesis Project team in Apache Junction. They are a faith-based organization who serve and feed over 6000 people in need per month. FatCats provided a giant box full of branded T-Shirts and a couple of Family Fun Passes for a future team builder. Awesome group of people!

Genesis Project is a coalition of churches in the Apache Junction area banded together for the common purpose of aiding the less fortunate.

Genesis Project is a faith-based 501c3 organization seeking to feed the hungry and the homeless by facilitating hot meals, showers, clothing, and medical services.

Meals are available Monday – Friday 12PM -2PM @ 564 N Idaho Rd Suite 5 Apache Junction, AZ 85120

Their biggest need at this time is clothing and volunteers who can participate at the center on Saturdays.

It's Fun To Do Good and House of Refuge of Mesa AZ knows it!

FatCats recently was pleased to honor the House of Refuge organization in Mesa, AZ. They provide transitional housing for families in crisis. They literally have a neighborhood of 81 homes with a tremendous amount of services to get families back on track. FatCats provided a giant bucket of toys and stuffed animals for their donation center. We learned families who arrive at the House of Refuge typically have nothing but the clothes they are wearing. Providing something fun or cuddly we believe would be significant for the kids.

Welcome to the House! House of Refuge is a faith-based, non-profit organization helping homeless families in crisis by providing transitional housing and supportive services that assist participants as they strive for self-sufficiency and seek to obtain permanent housing.

House of Refuge provides safe, stable housing to families who are experiencing homelessness.  Located in Southeast Mesa, our professional staff work with families on regaining dignity, finding employment, and ultimately obtain permanent housing.
