Arvada Police Department

Knows It's Fun to do Good!

This Month on June 21st, Police Officer, Gordan Beesley, was shot and killed in Olde Town Arvada by a gunman who investigators say hated the police. The shooter was killed by a good Samaritan who was then shot by the police. Between the rituals — the playing of taps, the bagpipes, the presentation of the flag that draped his coffin to his wife and children — friends, family and coworkers described Beesley as a man who embodied joy, believed in the importance of silliness and a humble, kind man who didn’t fit the profile of a stereotypical police officer. The community has come together and shown support for the family and police department in numerous ways.

FatCats wants to offer our support to the police department and family of the fallen officer. These officers risk their lives daily so that we, as citizens, can be and feel safe. It is important to us to step up and support these people who protect us. What happened to Officer Beesley is a stark reminder of the risk people in law enforcement face every day. At Fat Cats we offer a fun environment that will bring fun and joy to the department and family members during this difficult time. What everyone can understand is the respect for a fallen officer, the people he touched and legacy he left behind.
