Lakeridge Jr. High Village Run: Sponsored by The Christmas Box

Knows It's Fun to do Good!

The Village Run is an annual event held at Lakeridge Jr. High. on March 28. They hold a 5k, Carnival, Easter egg hunt, and silent auction. All proceeds go to youth in foster care and young adults who have aged out. Fat Cats has loved the opportunity to meet the amazing people in charge of organize this foundation that has helped so many children in the Utah County community.

Knows It's Fun to do Good!

AmeriCorps is a national service program where members commit their time to address critical community needs like increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, fighting poverty, sustaining national parks, preparing for disasters, and more! It is much like a “domestic” peace corps. AmeriCorps member in Utah are accomplishing amazing things and Fat Cats could not resist the opportunity to help their worthwhile cause. Each year they hold an AmeriCorps member gathering. During this one-day event, over 500 members come from all over the state to network and participate in professional development sessions. We wish the best success in this and future endeavors!
